Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple projects from concept realization to design approval.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers during projects.
- Transition completed designs to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning.
- Engage with the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful system launch.
- Work on various project types, including automated fulfillment centers and transportation centers.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 1+ years of Amazon experience.
- 1+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and data-driven problem-solving.
- Ability to travel 20%, including globally.
