Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Ops Engineering team for project installation and commissioning.
- Work on various projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
- Engage with a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Experience managing engineering design projects involving MHE.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of complex automated material handling equipment and robotics.
- Proficiency in system architecture, optimization, and statistical problem-solving.
- Ability to travel 20%, including globally.
