Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers during project execution.
- Collaborate with Ops Engineering for project installation and commissioning.
- Engage in projects that include green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
- Work in a fast-paced environment on high-impact projects.
- Utilize business/technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
- Experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Proven ownership/management of engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.
- Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
- Ability to travel 20%, including globally.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
