Responsibilities
- Lead architectural and mechanical design of fulfillment center systems.
- Create detailed design specifications for automated material handling and robotics solutions.
- Develop and validate engineering calculations to ensure system performance.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and serve as the primary technical contact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support installation phases.
- Identify opportunities for standardizing designs and improving efficiency.
- Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment and robotics.
- Proficiency in business/technical software (MS Excel, MS Project, CAD).
- Ability to travel globally (20%).
- Preferred: Master’s degree and experience with Lean Principles and Design-in-Safety.
