Responsibilities
- Overall leader for Kuiper Supplier Quality.
- Own the quality management system for Kuiper's supply chain operations.
- Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Source Inspectors.
- Drive defect identification and reduction activities using APQP tools.
- Move quality checks upstream to improve process capability.
- Foster a culture of quality, improvement, and learning.
- Solve problems within the supply chain while coaching teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years in high-reliability manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- 7+ years working under AS9100 or ISO9001 compliance.
- 7+ years leading APQP and Root Cause Analysis for hardware failures.
- 7+ years managing Quality/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Operations teams.
- Preferred qualifications include GD&T knowledge and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Experience with space or aviation hardware is a plus.
