Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial controls and PLC programs for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Solve design issues involving algorithms and develop hardware/firmware interfaces.
- Participate in design reviews for control systems and software development.
- Drive technical implementation for system designs.
- Identify and implement process improvements for team agility.
- Manage multiple high-visibility projects and communicate with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain controls software code/scripts for PLCs/HMI and vision systems.
Job Requirements
- Experience in automating and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Electrical/Control systems in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years’ experience in developing control strategies in CODESYS.
- Experience with Functional Safety standards (IEC 62061, IEC 13849, or IEC 61508).
- Preferred experience with distributed systems at scale and a Master’s degree in a STEM field.
