Responsibilities
- Research vision to identify focus areas for model development.
- Research delivery to validate strategies using offline data or lab experiments.
- Production studies to gather insights from production data or conduct ad-hoc experimentation.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers on various projects.
- Build and deploy multi-viewpoint and time-series computer vision systems.
- Experiment with prototype models in a lab setting.
- Conduct wide-scale A/B tests on robots in Amazon facilities.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
- PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML, or related fields.
- Experience with patents or publications in peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and numerical optimization.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience in professional software development is preferred.
