Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production, including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
- Own a large component of a subsystem from concept to fielding.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Architect, design, and implement complex embedded systems and circuit designs.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems (IEC 61508).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical, firmware, and system-level design.
- Experience with schematic entry, layout tools, and design for manufacturability.
- Experience designing high-volume printed circuit boards and complex schematics.
- Familiarity with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
