Responsibilities
- Create mechanisms, processes, and documentation for improving material approval and production operations.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional/technical requirements for new projects and production issues.
- Drive resolutions within the supply chain and address manufacturability, production, or design issues.
- Propose design changes to enhance product manufacturability and testability.
- Qualify supplier production processes using dimensional data and control plans.
- Design and implement manufacturing tools and fixtures into production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operations and production projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Junior year or above in an Engineering program, with a graduation date of May 2026 or later.
- Must be available for a full-time 6-month co-op from July/August to December 2025.
- Previous co-op experience in a professional environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of quality metrics, process improvement techniques, and LEAN Manufacturing is a plus.
