Responsibilities
- Create mechanisms, processes, and documentation to improve material approval and production floor operations.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional/technical requirements for projects and production issues.
- Drive resolutions within the supply chain network and address manufacturability, production, or design issues.
- Propose design changes to enhance product manufacturability and testability.
- Qualify supplier production processes based on dimensional data and control plans.
- Design and implement manufacturing tools and fixtures into production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering process owners.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Junior year or above in the Engineering program.
- Must be eligible for a full-time 6-month co-op from July/August to December 2025.
- Previous co-op experience in a professional environment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of quality metrics, process characterization, and LEAN Manufacturing techniques.
