Responsibilities
- Preprocessing and simulation setup for footwear components.
- Generate high-quality 2D and 3D meshes using tools like HyperMesh.
- Apply boundary conditions and material properties using standardized workflows.
- Run standardized simulations to evaluate performance metrics.
- Analyze and organize simulation results and communicate findings.
- Identify and document repetitive tasks to refine workflows.
- Contribute to the organization of simulation model libraries.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience with FEA tools such as Abaqus and Hypermesh.
- Strong knowledge of geometry cleanup and mesh generation.
- Familiarity with CAD tools like Rhino, SolidWorks, and CATIA.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or similar tools preferred.
