Responsibilities
- Work closely with mid to senior-level engineers during the electrical design and construction administration processes.
- Create and implement electrical designs in a BIM environment.
- Conduct analyses to develop electrical design options and recommendations.
- Assist in planning and designing code-compliant electrical systems for commercial facilities.
- Propose innovative solutions to design issues.
- Coordinate project scope, design, and deadlines with project managers/senior engineers.
- Perform submittal and shop drawing reviews and respond to RFIs in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in the design field.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) license, or active pursuit of licensure.
- Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- LEED Accreditation preferred.
