Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and successful operation of power systems.
- Develop proposals for new power distribution equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing electrical systems.
- Perform power system load flow analysis using ETAP.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on troubleshooting and project execution.
- Conduct high voltage audits to ensure compliance.
- Uphold Alcoa’s values in all work aspects.
Job Requirements
- 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited university.
- 3+ years of experience with electrical power distribution equipment.
- Familiarity with ETAP or similar software preferred.
- Experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to work safely around electrical equipment.
- Hands-on experience with low and high voltage equipment in an industrial setting.
