Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test robotic and automated assembly prototypes.
- Conduct experimental, environmental, operational, or stress tests on prototypes.
- Collaborate with Software, Electrical, and System Engineers to ensure product lifecycle success.
- Perform hands-on work when necessary.
- Troubleshoot technical problems with automated tooling and inspect malfunctioning products.
- Contribute to technical documentation for engineering staff and customers.
- Execute project tasks under guidance and maintain thorough documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with power tools and machine shop equipment.
- Proficiency in mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Experience with electric motors, gears, seals, springs, and fasteners.
- Familiarity with pneumatics, linear guides, ball screws, and position sensors.
- Experience working with robots is a plus.
