Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics and control panels.
- Create and review technical drawings, including P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and lead Hazard and Operability Study assessments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during system commissioning.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical control systems and mechanical design.
- Contribute to local and global engineering development efforts.
Job Requirements
- B.S in Electrical Engineering (required); M.S in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and LabView.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
- Knowledge of electrical codes (CSA, IEC, NEC).
- Experience in mechanical and electrical systems integration.
- Expertise in failure and root cause analysis.
