Responsibilities
- Conduct power system studies including load flow and arc flash analysis.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers and Managers on workload forecasts and design schedules.
- Develop single line diagrams, specifications for medium voltage switchgear, and low voltage switchboards.
- Perform substation and transformer design, including protective relay diagrams.
- Support projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning.
- Conduct field visits and attend client meetings.
- Review engineering work performed by peers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 6 years of related experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- Experience with electrical distribution systems and facility electrical systems.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
- Proficient in preparing drawings and specifications for medium voltage designs.
- Ability to conduct power system analysis using software like SKM Power Tools or ETAP.
- Excellent communication skills for report writing and presentations.
