Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering design work on assigned projects.
- Develop substation design documents including physical designs and general arrangement drawings.
- Create various diagrams such as one-line, three-line, and AC/DC schematics.
- Conduct power system studies and calculations for grounding, cable sizing, and transformer sizing.
- Collaborate with senior staff on design schedules and budgets.
- Participate in construction support and commissioning.
- Review engineering work performed by peers and assist with fieldwork.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of relevant substation experience.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with power systems analysis software.
- Preferred: Professional engineering licensure and experience on full EPC projects.
