Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy.
- Perform specific portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
- Review shop drawings during the construction phase.
- Prepare engineering calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
- Write reports and memos based on findings for internal and external purposes.
- Collaborate with managers and other employees to achieve the company's mission.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of related experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited University and completion of the fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE).
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience within a consulting or design-build firm.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
