Responsibilities
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system trade studies.
- Design complex electro-mechanical systems with advanced calculations and structural analysis.
- Size and select mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation, including drawings and work instructions.
- Utilize advanced metrology techniques and prepare acceptance test procedures.
- Interface with customers during the design process and provide post-delivery support.
- Lead project teams and deliver presentations to customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD/solid modeling tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience with military standards related to mechanical system design.
- Familiarity with advanced metrology techniques.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
- Ability to lead project teams and manage customer relationships.
