Responsibilities
- Design advanced electro-mechanical inertial guidance test systems.
- Perform sizing and selection of mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Prepare, review, and approve drawings, calculations, models, and work instructions.
- Develop acceptance test procedures and write systems manuals.
- Interface with customers during the design process.
- Provide customer support after delivery.
- Utilize CAD/solid modeling tools for design work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related engineering environment.
- Experience with CAD/solid modeling tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
- Knowledge of stress and stiffness structural analysis.
- Experience with gimbaled systems and stabilized platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
