Responsibilities
- Design sub-assemblies to meet design goals and specifications.
- Analyze designs using empirical, numerical, and experimental methods.
- Construct prototype tools and fixtures for development purposes.
- Design hardware to support product features and specifications.
- Evaluate and select components and technologies for subassemblies.
- Document custom products, tools, and prototypes with specifications and layouts.
- Lead technical design reviews and support continuous quality improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in product/process development.
- Technical knowledge of subsystems and design protocols.
- Proficient in computer skills including spreadsheets and specialized applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Six-sigma knowledge and experience.
