Responsibilities
- Manage process development engineering disciplines in an FDA controlled environment.
- Oversee engineering department budgeting and long-range capital planning for new processes and tooling.
- Assess and identify new process automation and tooling suppliers.
- Conduct new technology assessment and road mapping.
- Develop the careers of direct reports.
- Communicate group status to senior staff.
- Define and establish company-wide policies and procedures for design for manufacture.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in product/process development roles.
- Preferred: Master's Degree.
- Experience with medical device development.
- Knowledge of regulations for medical device development (ISO13485, FDA QSR).
- Experience in product development for quality-sensitive applications.
