Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems architecture for aircraft.
- Specify and select components for aircraft mechanical systems.
- Qualify and certify mechanical systems components.
- Support lab testing and verification activities.
- Coordinate integration activities with various stakeholders.
- Attend technical exchange meetings and program milestone reviews.
- Adapt to changes in aircraft configuration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline with relevant engineering experience.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred: Advanced degrees or specific experience with aircraft actuation hardware and mechanical systems design.
- Experience with NX CAD, Matlab/Simulink, and MSC ADAMS is a plus.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Task leadership and mentorship experience.
