Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer new processes and automation equipment.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Operations, Facilities, Production, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional design activities with tool vendors.
- Assume ownership of the design and technical transfer of manufacturing tools.
- Qualify tools for use with high standards of safety, quality, and output.
- Engage in design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Utilize CAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in engineering.
- Proficient with CAD software (CATIA or SOLIDWORKS).
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and high-volume factory environments.
- Knowledge of statistical tools and Geometric Design & Tolerance (GD&T).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tooling, jigs, and fixtures design.
