Responsibilities
- Perform system/component design and development activities, including trade studies and system test & verification.
- Conduct system-related analysis to support subsystem development and integration.
- Utilize NX and Teamcenter tool suite for design-related tasks.
- Integrate subsystems components into various aircraft applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust and maintainable configurations.
- Apply GD&T requirements to ensure manufacturability of designs.
- Plan and execute system-level tests and evaluations to verify airworthiness criteria.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years, or a PhD in STEM.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Professional experience in the development and integration of fluid subsystems or components.
- Preferred: Active DoD Secret clearance, Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, experience with aircraft subsystem development, and proficiency in fluid systems modeling software.
- Experience with military airworthiness certification processes and interpreting technical drawings.
- Demonstrated leadership in integrated product teams and proposal support.
