The role of Controls Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space involves overseeing facility systems, providing support for maintenance, operation, and project planning for Industrial Controls projects across multiple facilities, particularly in the context of satellite launch operations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of Industrial Controls Engineers on project and O&M tasks.
- Lead project teams for implementing improvement and recapitalization projects.
- Investigate SCADA system alarms and troubleshoot sensor data irregularities.
- Analyze source code to investigate the sequence of operations of systems.
- Replace failed or non-conforming components.
- Adjust alarms, trends, and system configurations to maintain operations.
- Prepare detailed estimates for projects and update documentation for configuration management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
- 4 years of combined engineering experience.
- Knowledge of IEC-61131-3 and industrial controls programming standards.
- Experience with Schneider Electric, Trane, Siemens, or Rockwell PLCs.
- Familiarity with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software.
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/Poly government security clearance.
