Responsibilities
- Support conceptual and layout design phases with expertise in standard parts.
- Promote product quality through supplier qualification and coordination with the quality department.
- Mitigate part procurement schedule impacts through vendor coordination and technical inputs.
- Investigate and resolve standard part-related issues impacting manufacturing.
- Maintain a standard parts tool for quick identification and selection.
- Ensure standardization across Lockheed Martin and suppliers.
- Participate in a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components like structural fasteners and fluid fittings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks.
- Familiarity with fluid conveyance and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of industry specifications and standards for mechanical hardware.
- Cost Account Management experience.
