Responsibilities
- Design mechanical, structural, and thermal components and subsystems.
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering documentation and specifications.
- Create 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Present design data at technical interchange meetings and design reviews.
- Conduct product acceptance reviews and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Manage product change requests and facilitate resolutions.
- Mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience with flight hardware design, analysis, integration, and testing.
- Proficient in mechanical drafting standards and CAD tools (e.g., Creo).
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
- Experience leading design efforts and working with thermal hardware.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to mentor and develop junior engineers.
