Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts and solve manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Review issues on assigned parts, implement changes, and drive actions to closure.
- Create and disposition issue tickets, collaborating with engineering counterparts.
- Familiarize with assigned parts and processes, addressing supply chain related defects.
- Work with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews for manufacturability.
- Own the new product introduction (NPI) process for new parts and changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Master’s degree in engineering (preferred).
- Familiarity with machining operations and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Ability to travel up to 60-85% of the work week.
