Responsibilities
- Lead analog and power system architecture, chipset selection, and system integration.
- Create power models for battery usage estimation and design circuit simulations.
- Generate design documentation and perform simulations pre and post board layout.
- Characterize power consumption and drive optimization efforts.
- Solve technical issues during product development and support escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product design and development.
- Evaluate innovative solutions for efficiency, cost, size, and reliability.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years in low power design within consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of power conversion characteristics and battery management systems.
- Experience with PCB technologies and leading technical teams.
- Preferred: Experience in bringing new technologies to market and performing power validations.
- Preferred: 8+ years in low voltage power design and system integration experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of the relationship between physical layout and electrical performance.
