Responsibilities
- Research and develop estimation and control algorithms for thermal management.
- Build dynamic thermal system models using Matlab/Simulink/Python.
- Develop and refine control strategies based on system models.
- Collaborate with firmware/integration engineers for on-vehicle testing.
- Design, implement, test, debug, and calibrate algorithms on vehicles.
- Focus on enhancing customer experience in performance, range, NVH, and cabin comfort.
- Utilize knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Graduation date between August 2025 and August 2026.
- Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Background in linear systems analysis and control systems design.
- Project experience in battery/powertrain thermal management or HVAC systems.
- Basic proficiency in embedded firmware development (C/C++ or similar).
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
