Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical HVAC design engineering from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure project delivery within budget and schedule.
- Research and provide innovative solutions for challenging engineering problems.
- Design and construct HVAC systems, including chiller and boiler plants, ductwork, piping, and plumbing.
- Utilize software applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and others for design tasks.
- Ensure compliance with various industry standards and codes related to mechanical and plumbing design.
- Contribute to a range of project types, including commercial buildings and data centers.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system design or construction.
- EIT certification required, with a preference for candidates working towards Professional Engineer registration.
- Proficiency in design applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Trane Trace.
- Familiarity with energy conservation and mechanical codes, as well as NFPA and ASHRAE standards.
- Professional design experience across various project types preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
