Responsibilities
- Develop web-based 1D/2D simulation calculators for design validation and optimization.
- Conduct detailed analyses including structural, thermal, and manufacturability assessments.
- Develop and execute feasibility studies and test plans to validate design performance.
- Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations for design reviews.
- Collaborate within the Global Products Group to drive innovation in etch and deposition products.
- Engage in hands-on problem-solving for complex mechanical design challenges.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences regarding design intent and evaluation.
Job Requirements
- Current Bachelor's or Master's student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Availability for a 3-month summer internship.
- Knowledge/experience in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and FEA.
- Basic coding or website development experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX or equivalent) preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
