Responsibilities
- Develop tooling and fixture designs for assigned end items.
- Integrate factory data for tooling and fixturing to support manufacturing.
- Investigate efficiency losses and implement corrective actions for production.
- Coordinate with various engineering fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.).
- Define and document system mechanical interfaces.
- Manage multiple assignments and customers simultaneously.
- Utilize CAD modeling and drafting for design processes.
Job Requirements
- Experience with spacecraft design and mechanical integration.
- Strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, specifically CREO.
- Familiarity with industry specifications (NAS, MIL, MS).
- Ability to work on-site full-time and obtain a government security clearance.
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin drafting standards and materials.
- Experience in Design for Integration/Testability (DFM).
