Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical CAD (ECAD)/PLM Engineer to join their Vehicle Engineering department in Melbourne, Florida. The role involves supporting Model-based Design, Manufacturing, and Product Lifecycle Management initiatives, focusing on developing engineering tools and contributing to the company's Digital Transformation strategy.

• Design and manufacture electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools.
• Define engineering ECAD tools requirements.
• Support the development and program adoption of Digital Transformation tools.
• Conduct validation testing of ECAD/PLM tool functionality.
• Create training and best practice documentation.
• Provide SME user support.
• Develop/update sector processes for ECAD/PLM.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in design, analysis, or engineering tools development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Preferred: Active DoD Secret clearance and experience with Siemens/Mentor Graphics Capital Harness.
• Preferred: Experience in an aerospace design environment.
