Manufacturing Engineer

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer focused on troubleshooting and optimizing circuit boards to enhance operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in the medical device sector.

• Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from development through production.
• Document and provide technical support for suppliers and assemblers.
• Train assemblers and technicians in new processes.
• Maintain and upgrade work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Participate in planning for workflow and equipment placement.
• Improve and maintain manufacturing processes for medical laser products.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and repair services for equipment.

• 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a medical environment with knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
• Familiarity with QSR documentation, ISO 9000, and Solid Works.
• Skills in fixture/tooling design, BOM, and MPI maintenance.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of equipment purchasing and maintenance.
