Responsibilities
- Develop 3D CAD models for mechanical, thermal, and acoustic analysis.
- Assist with issue resolution by collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, safety, manufacturing).
- Conduct research involving physical measurements and experiments.
- Plan, brainstorm, and execute innovation and standards.
- Contribute actively to standards work, with potential travel.
- Build functional relationships across hardware teams.
- Engage in continuous learning and seek answers to questions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering + 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s + 3 years.
- Prior lab experience with testing, verification, or experimentation.
- Experience in thermal, mechanical, or circuit design.
- Proficiency in running simulations in tools like Creo Designer, Siemens NX, or FloTherm.
- Understanding of the physics and mathematics behind simulations (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
