Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact with suppliers for precision machined components.
- Promote Design for Manufacturing (DfM/DfX) methodologies in new product development.
- Influence development teams by representing supplier capabilities.
- Lead Supplier Engineering innovation projects in collaboration with partners.
- Analyze manufacturing processes with suppliers to improve yields.
- Develop and validate inspection methods with supplier teams.
- Partner with internal quality teams for defect assessments and non-conformance investigations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in relevant engineering or quality roles.
- Knowledge of precision machining processes and high-performance materials.
- Experience collaborating with R&D for new product development in MedTech or similar fields.
- Familiarity with custom direct materials and related inspection processes.
- Skills in developing process validation plans and statistical process control.
- Proficiency in metrology and inspection tools.
- Preferred knowledge of FDA regulations and experience with ERP systems.
