Responsibilities
- Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
- Ensure designs meet program requirements and optimize for cost and quality.
- Derive non-flight applied loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization using software tools.
- Collaborate in a team environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
- Utilize FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter, and other software applications for analysis.
- Maintain the ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM with relevant experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Minimum of 2 years for Structural Engineer level and 5 years for Principal Structural Engineer level.
- Experience in structural analysis related to airframe, crew systems, or structural integrity preferred.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with government clearance.
