Responsibilities
- Design and integrate Crew Systems/Cockpit components including Escape Systems, Transparencies, and Cockpit Furnishings.
- Develop mockups and simulators for cockpit layouts.
- Perform trade studies and make design recommendations.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities in design tasks.
- Utilize NX and Teamcenter tools for design tasks and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ensure designs meet GD&T requirements for manufacturability.
- Adapt to changes in aircraft configurations effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
- 2-5 years of engineering experience, depending on the level.
- Experience in aircraft crew/cockpit design or hardware integration.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with NX CAD software and Teamcenter PLM preferred.
- Experience with military airworthiness certification process is a plus.
