Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review new product designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements.
- Develop, document, and update work instructions and assembly procedures for production teams.
- Work closely with production assemblers to validate and refine work instructions through pilot builds and feedback loops.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of process flow charts and production line layouts for new products.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype builds to identify potential manufacturing issues early in the development process.
- Support the transition of products from engineering to manufacturing, ensuring a seamless scale-up process.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address manufacturing challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing, product development, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation and work instructions.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
