Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of the main pump for the desalination product.
- Build and test pump prototypes to validate performance under real-world conditions.
- Conduct testing to ensure high reliability and low maintenance of the pump.
- Research and select lightweight and corrosion-resistant materials for the pump.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams for system integration.
- Ensure the pump design is manufacturable and scalable.
- Work with suppliers to refine production methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing.
- Experience designing and testing high-pressure pumps or fluid systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and pump performance optimization.
- Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing techniques (DFM and DFA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
