Responsibilities
- Lead efforts with various groups (Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to resolve key technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.
- Provide technical oversight for products from development to production.
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma practices.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure product quality.
- Utilize statistical methods to analyze and improve processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering or science field; Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
- Experience in a food, drug, or cosmetic manufacturing environment.
- Certification by ASQ as a CQE or CQT preferred.
- Understanding of audit protocols and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with FDA GMP regulations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
