Responsibilities
- Understand and create mechanical designs for performance improvement.
- Troubleshoot designs to address performance failures.
- Develop test fixtures and conduct experiments to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop product solutions.
- Propose improvements based on product specifications and update documentation.
- Present hardware capabilities and design improvements in Design Review forums.
- Manage project deliverables and timelines while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
- Knowledge of engineering mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Basic knowledge of material properties relevant to mechanical design.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is preferable.
