Responsibilities
- Develop tooling, fixtures, and test equipment for production and testing.
- Create custom Excel and/or Database programs for shop floor and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and perform calibration on existing test equipment, interacting with outside suppliers as needed.
- Represent Manufacturing during the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, transitioning products from design to full production.
- Participate in the Engineering Change Control process and assist in implementing engineering changes.
- Develop Manufacturing assembly processes and create supporting work instructions.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for issues within Manufacturing and provide troubleshooting support for testing equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- 3-5 years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in developing tooling and test equipment.
- Experience with calibration processes and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with the NPI process and engineering change control.
