Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer at Airgain will coordinate the introduction of new processes and products with outsourced contract manufacturers, driving production efforts across various departments to ensure efficient implementation.

• Execute new product development (NPI) process flows for mass production.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles in production activities.
• Advise and support operations to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
• Train contract manufacturers and prepare build books and work instructions.
• Maintain records and present reports on new process implementations.
• Monitor key metrics and KPIs for platform performance.
• Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of product manufacturing and new product development experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and design for manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced colleagues.
