Responsibilities
- Own development of new products and modifications to existing products, adhering to medical device best practices.
- Drive innovative solutions to problems and build knowledge about product performance.
- Execute testing methodologies to ensure product success and generate requirements.
- Take ownership of critical projects, defining success criteria and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, product, and clinical teams.
- Participate in all phases of new technology development from design to validation.
- Report directly to the Manager of Hardware Engineering.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with 5+ years of product development experience.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
- Expertise in medical device design and product development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, creativity, motivation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge in ceramics and manufacturing is a plus.
