Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and modify mechanical and/or electromechanical components, sub-systems, and systems.
- Develop fiber and cable management at module and system levels.
- Use computer-aided engineering software for design and analysis.
- Develop prototypes to mitigate development risks and validate design features.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage cost and timeline targets while communicating with vendors.
- Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and personnel.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in mechanical engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in Mechanical Design, Electro/Optical Packaging, and Thermal Design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
- Experience with FEA and CFD packages, particularly COMSOL.
- Knowledge in laser packaging techniques, including soldering and adhesive bonding.
- Strong independent working capabilities and adaptability.
