Responsibilities

  • Design and implement reliable control code for bipedal locomotion and object manipulation.
  • Improve robot behavior in real-world situations.
  • Reflect capabilities in a simulation engine for fast iteration.
  • Program in C or C++.
  • Develop, model, and implement closed-loop control systems in an embedded environment.
  • Analyze linear systems and design controllers.
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery in an embedded environment.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Robotics Engineering, or related field with a graduation date in 2025.
  • Experience with state estimation using IMU, encoders, and force sensors.
  • Familiarity with bipedal robots or multi-DOF robotic hardware.
  • Experience in shipping control algorithms on real products at scale.
  • Solid background in linear systems analysis and stability.
  • Capability of working 40 hours per week on-site.
  • Familiarity with control of non-linear systems.
