Responsibilities
- Investigate medical device malfunctions through clinical notes, device data logs, and product analysis.
- Develop failure analysis techniques to automate testing methods.
- Identify approaches to mitigate and resolve failures for improved reliability and outcomes.
- Utilize statistical tools for failure rate analysis and apply risk management methodologies.
- Drive CAPAs to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Coordinate changes to product design and procedures, including modifications to schematics and PCB layouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Experience in electromechanical system troubleshooting at the component level.
- Ability to interpret circuit schematics, BOMs, and technical drawings.
- Cross-functional experience with hardware/software and analog/digital systems.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Initiative and determination to execute tasks without direct supervision.
