Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Plug Power products and manufacturing objectives.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes through research and collaboration with equipment vendors.
- Design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Champion Lean/Six Sigma best practices and provide training.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow and equipment layout.
- Assure product and process quality through testing and standards establishment.
- Support supplier quality initiatives and manage engineering change processes.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Six Sigma green belt/black belt preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in high-tech manufacturing.
- Proven track record in driving manufacturing improvement projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex methodologies.
- Analytical abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing complex projects.
